Sweet, sweet story of a daddy mouse and his baby. They have adventures all day long playing together - some things only Daddy can do because he's bigger and some things only the baby can do because he's smaller! But my favorite part is the ending- I LOVE books where parents tell their little ones they love them- they just can't hear it TOO much!!! So here's your chance - grab this one and then tell your little one you love them!

Orange Pear Apple Bear

Emily Gravett is WONDERFUL. She is one of my favorite authors for young children, and, as a side note, her website is fabulous! So when I saw Orange Pear Apple Bear, I knew it would be a good one! And I wasn't disappointed! Not only can bear look like these fruits, he can also EAT all the fruits!! Great for teaching on colors, shapes and/or sequence skills. It is sure to please young readers ~ and the illustrations are only topping on the cake!

I Love it When you Smile

Sam McBratney has done it again!!! I Love it When you Smile is a wonderful read for kids. Little Roo is not having a good day and Mother Kangaroo is trying everything she can to change that AND see Little Roo smile. What will make Little Roo smile??? You have to read it to find out!! I read it to my 2 year old and by the end, even she was smiling!! It's a great read!

Princess Pigsty

My two year old and I sat and read this today - I LOVED it!!! Princess Pigsty by Cornelia Funke. It was a little long for my daughter, but she still thought the pictures were great and when we were done she said, "That princess was dirty!" So there you go - a great story about a princess that doesn't want to be a princess and she gets dirty!!! But really - it's SO much better than that - even my 12 year old had a chuckle or two!!!

If Mom Had Three Arms

If Mom Had Three Arms by Karen Kaufman is a great book!! Who wouldn't want a mom with 3, 4 or even 5 arms!?!?!? (Hey, who, as a mom, wouldn't want 3, 4, or 5 arms!!!) This great counting book imagines what Mom could do with multiple arms! It's a fun read - sure to bring smiles and laughter!!
